Haywood Village Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF), an education trust consisting of 15 academies serving around 8000 pupils, aged 3-19, in North Somerset, BANES, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The CLF is the largest and most mature non-diocesan multi academy trust in the South West. It has a track record of delivering high quality educational experiences to learners in both its primary and secondary schools and can call upon a wealth of experience and expertise, which is actively and deliberately shared across its family of schools.

Haywood Village Academy will join Hans Price Academy as the second CLF school in Weston Super Mare. Hans Price joined the CLF as a sponsored academy, reopening under new leadership in 2011. It moved into its new state of the art building on Marchfields Way in June 2014, and since then has become a very popular choice for parents of secondary school pupils.
